View Full Version : Where to get dvdshrink earlier V......

Hi. Can someone please tell me where I can get an earlier version of dvdshrink other than www.dvdshrink.org (http://www.dvdshrink.org) because this site is not working for the earlier releases. Thank you.

Try www.dvdshrink.info (http://www.dvdshrink.info) as ddlooping did have older versions to d/l IIRC.

Because the newer version doesn't work ok with my computer, I have a celeron 766 Mhz and 128 Ram and it takes ages to encode and with the older version everything work ok.

Funny you should mention that. I had the same problem. V3.0 Beta5 was pretty quick as was V2.3 but 3.1 was a time consuming nightmare. I have since upgraded my machine and it works great with 3.1. I have heard that if you have older versions on there that it will screw with the settings if you try to install a newer version. Have you tried completely removing the program and then installing the latest version?

JESTERRACE: Yes I tried that and didn't work. I will get an extra 256 ram maybe it will work with the newer version, if not I have to stick with the older one.
