Fake IP Address

For security reasons I would like to mask my IP address. Will also be useful for me monitoring my sites if my IP is always the same to avoid multiple tracking entries.

I remember seeing a site / product that would do a good job of it but have lost it.

Could anyone recommend something that would do the job?

Preferrably free of course, but not essential!

Can't you just connect through a proxy? Will do the same job won't it?

I think you are talking about dns2go which will map a domain name to a dynamic IP configuration. I don't believe you can mask your IP address as if you want people to actually access your web page
