email problem

hi guys

cant send or receive email in outlook express just keep getting timed out

have the correct setting ie pop3.blueyonder.co.uk etc
connection lan

have the exact same email account on the kids pc and these go thru ok
have checked setting on both to compare are r the same even checked nortons etc set the same

totally lost only thing i have done that i can remember is installed windows updates but did this also on the kids pc so cant be that ....pull my hair out
these are the timeout errors

in outlook
i click send / rec and ststus is executing

a timeout occurred while communicating with the server account pop3.blueyonder.co.uk server pop3.blueyonder.co.uk protocol POP3 port 110 error number 0x00 etc

Try setting up a new account in OE and type in the details (dont cut & paste).

If this works ok, just delete the current one.
